Korean Beauty Haul: Carezone BB Cream, Peripera Lip Tint

Hey musers,

Here's my first haul from Korea! (Lots more to come)
I stopped by Olive & Young to purchase a few random things during my first week in Seoul and as usual, ended up with more than I originally planned on getting. LOL

1★ CAREZONE BB CREAM SPF 34 PA++ for dry-troubled skin
4★ OLIVE & YOUNG BEAUTY TOOL (Pimple Popper keke)
5★ OLIVE & YOUNG NAIL CARE TOOL (dot stamper)

1. Carezone Nordenau Water BB Cream

SPF 34 PA++ for dry troubled skin

This is a nice BB cream that I purchased because of my sister. I asked her what she was using because her skin looked so naturally flawless and soft (she had been visiting Korea on the way back to Australia from a mission trip), and she referred this over to me. My sister has a history of troubled skin and adult acne. She also has sensitive skin and consequently has to be very picky with the products she uses, but she's very happy with this product.

It has a slightly gray-er cast than my normal BB cream (Holika Holika Aqua Petit Jelly BB Cream), but then again I usually feel like my HH is more like a foundation than a BB cream anyway! It is true to the cream name, and a little goes a long way. It slightly whitens the skin and leaves the skin silky and dewy. Good coverage, and grayness - if you find any in it - completely disappears. It is quite long lasting and I found that it actually makes my face less oily throughout the day compared to the Nars Sheer Glow foundation. It also matches my skintone better than the Nars, as you can see in the swatch below. Of course, once blended in the Nars doesn't look as yellow as the picture, but it is a darker shade than the Carezone. Has a pleasant subtle scent to it. I give this BB cream a thumbs up!

(Purchased from Olive & Young - if you are in certain Asian countries, you will know this chain cosmetics store, but if not I'm not too sure where you can get this product. Sorry~)

Comparing it to my Nars Sheer Glow Foundation:

2. Peripera Lip Tint Water

#5 Candy Juice

This is a really pretty candy pink lip tint. Since it's water lip tint (not jelly), it's very runny so you have to work with it quickly. Gives you a 'just eaten a pink lollipop' innocent look. Also very buildable. The effect lasts for a decent amount of time (a few hours). Smells SO YUM. ^-^

3. Olive & Young Hair Accessory - Hair Spring Band

Comes in a pack of 4 (2 brown, 2 black)

I'm the type of person that loves a bit of volume in my hair, as you can see from my kinda-old-but-still-relevant (!) soft curls hair tutorial. That's why I'm so in love with these hair ties. They're a type of elastic-y plastic that never snag your hair, are super quick and easy to use, and creates an effortlessly beautiful croquet pattern that adds instant volume. The uneven effect helps your hair catch light and look more healthy and shiny, and to top it off, my hair never slips out of shape - one of my biggest pet peeves with having my hair tied up, especially in a high pony tail (because gravity ALWAYS wins grr).

Here's a pretty bad photo to show you guys an example - it's harder to take a picture of the back of your head than you might think! hehe

Hope you guys get the idea. Anyways! I have soo many more products to haul and review for you so make sure to subscribe to my blog or follow me on bloglovin! (Buttons to the right) I don't post everything I do here on my Facebook, Twitter and Instagram so don't forget <3

Have a wonderfulllll week :)

Love Jen
